Trips and Residentials

Trips and residential visits in primary schools are invaluable experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom and foster a wide range of essential life skills. These activities offer children the chance to explore new environments, engage with real-world contexts, and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways. They promote independence, teamwork, and resilience as children navigate new routines and take on responsibilities away from home. Social skills are enhanced through shared experiences with peers, while problem-solving and communication are developed through group tasks and challenges. Overall, such experiences enrich the curriculum, boost confidence, and help children grow both academically and personally.

Back2Bear

Our 3-day residential visit to Back2Bear was an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, teamwork, and new challenges. From the moment we arrived, we were thrown into exciting team-building games and experiences. We learned bushcraft skills such as fire-lighting and shelter building. Archery sessions tested our focus and coordination, while laser tag and gel-soft battles brought plenty of laughter and energy. Evenings around the camp, gave us a real sense of independence. By the end of the trip, we had grown more confident, resilient, and connected, with memories we’ll never forget.
